June 23 (UPI) — Multi-talented artist, The Weeknd, surprises fans with the release of three tracks – “One of the Girls,” “Jealous Guy,” and “Fill the Void,” for his highly-anticipated HBO series, The Idol.
“One of the Girls” showcases The Weeknd’s incredible talent alongside Lily-Rose Depp and popular Blackpink member, Jennie. This catchy tune is sure to captivate listeners. Meanwhile, “Fill the Void” features Depp’s mesmerizing vocals alongside singer Ramsey, creating a harmonious blend of voices.
As a tribute, The Weeknd also covers John Lennon’s classic song “Jealous Guy,” reviving the timeless lyrics and bringing his unique touch to the iconic track.
The newly-released songs serve as the perfect complement to The Idol Episode 4, set to premiere on HBO this Sunday. The Weeknd has been treating fans with specially curated tracks for each episode, including the captivating “The Lure (Main Theme)” and the popular hit, “Popular.”
The Idol is a captivating series co-created by The Weeknd, Sam Levinson (Euphoria), and Reza Fahim. The show centers around Jocelyn (played by Lily-Rose Depp), an aspiring pop star, who develops a complex relationship with Tedros (played by The Weeknd), a mysterious nightclub impresario with a fascinating past. The ensemble cast also features Troye Sivan, Dan Levy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, and Jane Adams.
