The Denial of Hillary’s Election Loss: A Thought-provoking Analysis of Political Delusions

Democrats despise election deniers.

Particularly, they abhor election deniers like Donald Trump.

They ask, why can’t the sore loser man-baby stop complaining about the “stolen” 2020 election and accept that Joe Biden fairly defeated him?

To be fair, they have a valid point.

Despite Trump’s constant furious outbursts, he has never provided any actual evidence that the 2020 election was “rigged,” as he claims.

So I concur with the Democrats when they criticize him for refusing to acknowledge the indisputable fact that he lost.

In fact, I confronted Trump face-to-face during an interview for my Fox Nation show “Piers Morgan Uncensored” last year, urging him to stop his absurd and democracy-damaging rhetoric. His response? He called me a fool seven times.

However, the fervent and enraged manner in which Democrats go after election denial might lead one to mistakenly assume that they hold the same stance regardless of who is denying the election results.

They don’t.

In a recent MSNBC interview with Jen Psaki, President Biden’s former White House press chief, Hillary Clinton delved into her favorite topic: how she believes her own election was stolen.

Yes, Hillary still stubbornly believes that the only reason Trump defeated her is because Russian President Vladimir Putin interfered in the 2016 election to prevent her victory.

“The Russians have proven themselves to be quite adept at interfering, and if he has a chance, he’ll do it again,” she stated. “I don’t think, despite all of the deniers, there’s any doubt that he interfered in our election. Part of the reason he worked so hard against me is because he didn’t think that he wanted me in the White House.”

Of course, Clinton has never been able to substantiate her claims of Putin orchestrating Trump’s victory.

Instead, an extensive investigation into supposed “Russia collusion” between Trump and Putin yielded no evidence of election tampering.

Nevertheless, Clinton persists in peddling this falsehood and refusing to admit that she lost fairly.

“I believe he knows he is an illegitimate president,” Hillary declared in 2017.

Later, she added, “You can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you.”

Ironically, when Trump and his supporters made similar claims about their loss in the 2020 election, Hillary was infuriated.

“We never thought we had to worry about domestic enemies,” she told “Morning Joe.” “We never thought we had to worry about people who didn’t believe in our democracy. Sadly, what we’ve seen over the last four years and especially since the election is that we have people in our own country who are doing Putin’s work. They are doing his work to sow distrust, to sow divisiveness, to give aid and comfort to those in our country who, for whatever reason, are being not only disruptive but very dangerous.”

Such articulate words, Hillary. It’s inconceivable that anyone like you would engage in Putin’s dirty work by sowing dangerous mistrust in the US democratic process!

The sheer hypocrisy is mind-boggling.

This is a woman who persistently and knowingly used Putin to deceive the American people into believing that the only reason she lost in 2016 was because of Russian collusion with Trump.

And as we witnessed on Sunday, she continues to do so, despite it being an established fact that Russia did not interfere.

The truth is, Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 because Trump proved to be a more popular candidate than her with the American people, thanks to her dreadful and elitist campaign as the “most qualified candidate in presidential history.”

Yet here she is, still blaming the beastly Russians for her humiliation, employing the same tactic of reality denial as Trump.

One might expect Jen Psaki, who regularly criticized Trump for his claims of a stolen election, to express equal dismay when faced with a former presidential candidate doing the same.

But that would assume Ms. Psaki is an impartial journalist applying consistent standards to all. In reality, she is a hyper-partisan Democratic activist.

So MSNBC viewers, who have been repeatedly told by the network’s hosts to view Trump’s election denial as a dangerous assault on democracy, were likely left wondering, “Wait, is it now acceptable to deny an election if it’s our side doing it?”

My favorite moment of the interview occurred when Clinton told Psaki, “You know, the thing about him — and I’m not the only one who’s noticed this — is he engages in what psychologists call projection. So, whenever he accuses somebody of doing something, it’s almost guaranteed he’s doing it himself or he’s already done it.”

Psaki didn’t even crack a smile as her guest spewed out such a laughably absurd double standard. If I had been the interviewer, it would have left me in hysterics.

So let me say what Psaki should have said to her:

“Shut up, Hillary, you flaming hypocrite. When it comes to election-denying nonsense, you’re wading in the same delusional swamp as Trump.”
