Patriots are dismayed
The genteel nature of my own personality prevents me from suggesting that the members of the American House of Representatives should waterboard its former chairman of the Intelligence Committee. However, as a devoted patriot of the United States, I can’t help but wonder if Adam Schiff—the aptly named individual in question—should be metaphorically “dumped overboard”.
We have allowed indicted Santos to remain seated in Congress, and we have promoted Schiff, who seems to have knowledge of only nine Commandments—conveniently forgetting the one about honesty. Schiff, as a lawmaker in one of the highest echelons of the United States, has abused his power in an attempt to pursue Trump. And what about the commandment that says, “Thou shalt not betray thy country,” perhaps in relation to the actions of Hunter & Co.?
More witnesses in Operation Donald are coming forward quickly. Perhaps this is a strategic move to encourage a plea deal in order to avoid conviction.
In George Washington’s “Farewell Address” (which was actually written by Hamilton), he expressed his distrust in political parties. He believed that partisanship was a “potent engine” that could subvert the power of the people. He also believed that political parties could potentially lead the populace to seek security in the absolute power of an individual, who would then use that power for their own personal gain. Washington feared the “spirits of revenge” that would seek to punish those who lost an election. He noted that throughout history, this has often resulted in a permanent despotism. It seems that George had more on his mind than just Martha.
