“The Bear” is set to make a triumphant return as FX Hulu’s highly acclaimed series gets renewed for a third season. According to FX Entertainment president Nick Grad, fans can expect the premiere of “The Bear” Season 3 in 2024.
The upcoming season will be available on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in all other territories.
“’The Bear,’ which captivated viewers in its debut season and exceeded expectations in its second season, has become a cultural phenomenon,” said Grad in a statement. He added, “We’re thrilled to partner with , Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the entire creative team, as well as the exceptional cast led by , Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Their outstanding work, along with the crew, is truly remarkable. We, along with our partners at Hulu, eagerly await the next chapter in ‘The Bear’ story.”
This half-hour series premiered in 2022 and instantly gained widespread acclaim. Storer’s comedy-drama follows the journey of a renowned chef who returns to his hometown of Chicago to take charge of his deceased brother’s struggling restaurant.
The second season premiered on Hulu in June and garnered even more critical acclaim, while also earning 13 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series, for its outstanding first season.
FX’s “The Bear” was created by Christopher Storer, who serves as an executive producer alongside Joanna Calo. Hiro Murai of Super Frog, Josh Senior, and Matty Matheson are also part of the creative team. Tyson Bidner takes on the role of producer. The series is produced by FX Productions.
The first two seasons are exclusively available for streaming on Hulu.
