A ticket with all six numbers in Friday evening’s multi-state Mega Millions draw was sold in Texas and the ticket holder will have the choice between receiving the estimated $360 million jackpot in 30 graduated payments or a lump sum payment of $156.9 million.
The numbers drawn Friday were 12, 24, 46, 57, 66 and the Mega number was 22.
The drawing was the 15th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
There were six tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, including one at a liquor store in Clovis in the San Joaquin Valley which is worth $2,325,131, the California Lottery announced.
While tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in other states are worth $1 million or a multiple of $1 million, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
The tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in Michigan and New Jersey are both worth $3 million because the players utilized the Megaplier option, where for an additional $1 any non-jackpot prize is multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.
The other ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in New Jersey and the ones sold in Pennsylvania and Washington are both worth $1 million.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 302,575,350, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.
The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing will be $20 million.
