Some TD Bank customers are experiencing delays in receiving direct deposit payments due to a known issue, according to a statement from the bank to Global News.
A spokesperson for TD Bank stated on Friday morning, “We are aware of an issue causing delayed direct deposit payments to some customers. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding.”
In a follow-up statement, the spokesperson assured customers that any fees resulting from missed direct deposits will be refunded once the issue is resolved.
TD responded to a customer inquiry on Twitter, acknowledging the issue and stating that their support teams are investigating. They advised customers to continue monitoring their accounts.
