Taylor Swift Residency at SoFi Stadium Draws Early Fans

Fans of Taylor Swift eagerly lined up outside SoFi Stadium on Friday in anticipation of the second night of her engagement at the venue. The previous night’s performance was over three hours long and included a touching moment between Swift and Bianka Bryant, the youngest daughter of the late Kobe Bryant.

During the performance of her song “22,” Swift followed her tradition of gifting her hat to a lucky fan. She chose 6-year-old Bianka Bryant and gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug, which brought cheers from the crowd. Vanessa Bryant, Bianka’s mother, captured the moment on social media.

Vanessa Bryant also shared a photo of the denim jacket she wore to the concert, which featured a picture of Swift with Kobe Bryant. In 2015, Kobe Bryant presented Swift with a banner recognizing her record-breaking number of sold-out shows at Staples Center.

Eager fans of Taylor Swift gathered at SoFi Stadium early on Friday morning, hoping to purchase her merchandise. Additional performances are scheduled for Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Stadium officials want to remind the public that only ticketed guests will be allowed inside the venue. People without tickets should not come to the stadium in the hopes of listening to the music from outside.

The stadium’s website states that once the show starts, no one will be allowed to stay in the parking lots or outside the stadium. Metro officials suggest that Swift fans use mass transit to avoid parking issues. Extra bus and train services are being provided on show nights.

One option for fans is to take the recently opened Metro K Line to the Downtown Inglewood Station and then ride a free shuttle bus to SoFi Stadium. Another option is to take the E Line to the Expo/Crenshaw Station and transfer to the K Line.

Fans from the South Bay or other areas can take the C Line to the Hawthorne/Lennox Station, where a free shuttle is also available. It’s important to note that there was a violent incident at the C Line’s Crenshaw station, but authorities have assured Swift fans that security will be tight on the train system.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, LA Metro, and the Los Angeles Police Department are working together to provide additional law enforcement presence throughout the Metro system during the Taylor Swift concert series. Both departments have assured the public of robust security measures.

For out-of-town fans staying near Los Angeles International Airport, the Metro 117 bus offers easy access to the Century/Yukon station next to the stadium. Metro will have staff and additional security personnel at various stations to assist Swift fans who may be unfamiliar with the train system.
