The Phoenix Suns have reportedly traded guard Cameron Payne to the San Antonio Spurs and signed big man Bol Bol to a one-year contract, according to a source familiar with the matter.

In addition, the Suns have acquired three second-round draft picks from the Orlando Magic in exchange for a swap of first-round picks in the 2026 NBA draft.

Despite expectations of a quiet offseason after trading for Bradley Beal, the Suns have been active in building a roster around him, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant.

In the trade with the Spurs, the Suns sent Payne, a second-round pick, and cash in exchange for a future protected second-round pick, creating salary cap space.

With the way clear, the Suns signed Bol, who was recently released by the Orlando Magic. Bol, the son of former NBA player Manute Bol, stands at 7-foot-2 and averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds last season after three years in Denver.

Payne played a key reserve role for the Suns during their run to the 2021 NBA Finals, averaging 10.8 points and 4.5 assists in his fourth season with the team.

In addition to these moves, the Suns have also agreed to terms with sharpshooter Yuta Watanabe, big men Chimezie Metu and Drew Eubanks, and wing Keita Bates-Diop during the opening of free agency.
