Styles P and Jalen Rose Discuss Styles P’s Last Solo Album

Styles P has had an extraordinary impact on the world of hip-hop.

The artist, who hails from Yonkers, has built a successful career since the 1990s, both as a solo artist and as a member of the rap trio known as the Lox, alongside Jadakiss and Sheek Louch.

In a recent interview for the “Renaissance Man” podcast, Styles P revealed that his upcoming solo album will be his last. He expressed a desire to end his career on his own terms, stating, “I feel I’ve put in more than enough work as a solo artist.” He proudly mentioned that he has released more solo albums than most of his peers who entered the game at the same time as him.

However, this doesn’t mean the end of Styles P’s involvement in music. He assured fans that he will still collaborate with the Lox and explore other musical projects in the future. For now, he believes it’s necessary to take a break from the recording booth.

“There are other things I want to pursue, so I needed to prioritize,” he explained. “I decided that completing my solo projects was the one thing I had to cross off my list.”

Styles P has plans to expand his horizons beyond music. He is interested in exploring television and literature projects that fuel his passion. Additionally, he has ventured into entrepreneurship with health food brands like Farmacy for Life and Juices for Life, which have locations in Yonkers, The Bronx, and Brooklyn.

Expect nothing short of greatness from Styles P’s final solo album. He promises to showcase all aspects of his skills as an emcee and go out with a bang. He also hinted at potential collaborations with young artists who impress him, emphasizing the importance of the beat fitting their styles.
