Spurs Guard Devonte’ Graham Faces 2-Game Suspension for Impaired Driving

San Antonio Spurs guard Devonte' Graham

The NBA has announced the suspension of Devonte’ Graham, guard for the San Antonio Spurs, for two games without pay. The suspension follows Graham’s guilty plea to driving while intoxicated. The suspension will be effective from his next eligible and available NBA regular-season game.

In July 2022, Graham was stopped for speeding in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was driving 63 mph in a 40 mph zone. His blood alcohol level was recorded at .11, above the legal limit of .08. As a result, he has been placed on 12 months unsupervised probation.

Graham has played five seasons in the NBA, starting with the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the San Antonio Spurs. Notably, he made a 61-foot game-winning shot for the Pelicans in Oklahoma City. Last season, he averaged 13 points and four assists in 20 games for the Spurs.
