The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is a clamshell-style folding handset that fits comfortably in the pocket when closed and transforms into a rectangular smartphone when opened. Its standout feature is a larger cover display that allows for enhanced selfie-taking and personal customization. The Galaxy Fold 5 has a 6.2-inch display that can be folded out to reveal a larger 7.6-inch main screen. It is also thinner than its predecessor and comes with an under-display camera and S Pen compatibility. Despite being a niche part of the market, foldables offer benefits such as displaying multiple apps on one screen. While Samsung leads the foldable phone market, competition is growing from Chinese firms. Analysts expect the foldable phone market to double in shipments by 2023. Samsung also launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 tablet with enhanced features and the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic with improved displays and health tracking capabilities.
