According to The Guardian, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson reveals in her new book that she was allegedly groped by Rudy Giuliani, former lawyer to ex-President Donald Trump, on January 6, 2021.

Hutchinson, who was 27 at the time, says that Giuliani, who is 52 years older than her, put his hand “under my blazer, then my skirt” on that day.

This incident reportedly took place behind a rally stage near the White House shortly before Trump encouraged his supporters to march to the U.S. Capitol to protest President Joe Biden’s victory in the Electoral College.

Giuliani’s spokesperson has called Hutchinson’s claim a “disgusting lie” and suggested that she fabricated the allegation to boost sales of her book, titled “Enough,” which is set to be published soon.

Hutchinson’s explosive testimony during the House Select Committee investigation of the January 6 riot at the Capitol brought her into the national spotlight, leading to her transition from a Trump supporter and White House staffer to a witness who recommended criminal charges against the former president.

In her book, Hutchinson provides further details of the alleged incident with Giuliani. She describes finding him with pro-Trump lawyer John Eastman and others, with Giuliani approaching her and making suggestive remarks while holding a stack of documents. She claims that he then touched her inappropriately.

Hutchinson’s account paints a disturbing picture of the encounter, with Giuliani’s actions making her feel violated and uncomfortable.

Giuliani’s spokesperson has continued to deny the allegations, stating that they are part of a marketing campaign for Hutchinson’s book.

This is not the first time Giuliani has faced accusations of sexual assault. In May, another former employee sued him for alleged sexual assault in New York. Giuliani also denied those allegations.

Lawyers for John Eastman have called Hutchinson’s accusations “libelous” and stated that Eastman did not even know who she was until her public testimony in June 2022.

Despite the continued denial of these allegations, Hutchinson’s testimony and her new book have further intensified the scrutiny on Giuliani and his actions.

Responding to the allegations, Giuliani’s spokesperson questioned Hutchinson’s timing in coming forward and defended Giuliani’s record in public service, including taking down the Mafia and leading New York City during the aftermath of 9/11.

Giuliani and others, including Trump and Meadows, are currently facing charges in a racketeering case in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court, accusing them of conspiring to overturn Trump’s loss in the state’s 2020 presidential election.
