A sports shop owned by former Montreal Canadiens hockey player, Georges Laraque, was targeted in a robbery overnight on Thursday. Laraque is now appealing to the public for help in identifying the thief.
Laraque took to his social media accounts on Friday to share video footage of the incident at his store, Ultime Sports Collection Laval. The footage shows the store’s windows being smashed and collectible cards and other items being stolen.
A Laval, Que. sports collectibles shop owned by ex-NHL enforcer Georges Laraque was robbed overnight Thursday, and the incident was recorded on the store’s security camera. The ex-Habs player is asking anyone who can identify the thief to contact him directly.

“If you have any information on this person, please message me privately,” Laraque urged.
The footage, taken at 1 a.m. on Friday, shows a hooded man loading stacks of cards into a bag as the store’s security alarm goes off.
