Shocking Allegations: Ex-Eton Teacher Faces Accusations of Multiple Sexual Assaults on Pupil

A 35-year-old former teacher at Eton College has been accused of carrying out a series of sexual offenses against a 16-year-old pupil during his time at the prestigious school between 2010 and 2012.

Jacob Leland, hailing from Camden, North London, faced 14 charges related to sexual misconduct with a teenage boy. He vehemently denied these allegations during a court hearing at Reading magistrates’ court on Wednesday and has been granted bail until his next appearance at Reading Crown Court on December 4.

The charges against Mr. Leland include five counts of non-penetrative sexual activity, four counts of penetrative sexual activity, three counts of causing or inciting a boy under 16 to engage in sexual activity, and two counts of sexual assault on a male.

Eton College, in response to the allegations, expressed unwavering support for the former pupils directly involved in the case, commending their bravery and dignity. They emphasized the school’s dedication to the welfare and well-being of its students, assuring that safeguarding concerns are addressed in accordance with established processes and in close collaboration with relevant authorities.

A spokesman for Eton College indicated that due to the ongoing criminal proceedings, they could not provide further comments at this stage.
