Season 5 of Stranger Things faced a production delay in May due to a writers’ strike, making it the second season to experience significant delays. The previous season was halted for months in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The exact timeline for the final season remains unknown as SAG-AFTRA negotiations continue for the resolution of its 111-day strike.
Levy expressed his eagerness to resume production, emphasizing his dedication as a fan of the show and his commitment to delivering a satisfying conclusion. However, he acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the resumption of production in the industry.
Aside from Stranger Things, Levy is also involved in the production of Deadpool 3. Both projects were put on hold and will require careful planning once the strike ends.
