Sharon Cuneta politely declines requests for free ‘Dear Heart’ tickets: ‘Apologies, I am only working’

Sharon Cuneta revealed that she has been receiving numerous requests for free tickets to her upcoming “Dear Heart” concert with Gabby Concepcion, and the Megastar confessed that it is becoming a source of frustration for her. Through her Instagram page on Friday, August 18, she said, “Every time I have a concert, my headache is not about the show itself, but rather the overwhelming number of people asking for complimentary or free tickets!”

She further emphasized how she supports her fellow singers by purchasing their concert tickets instead of asking for free passes. She expressed her gratitude to friends and family members who understand this and willingly buy their own tickets. She jokingly added, “Honestly, my complimentary tickets disappeared so quickly! If I buy more to give away, Gabby might be the only one performing because I’ll exhaust my salary on freebies.”

Cuneta also explained that the reunion concert with Gabby has a high production cost, which justifies the ticket prices ranging from P1,200 to P18,500. She apologized for not being able to provide free tickets to everyone, but thanked her fans for their understanding and support.

The love team of Cuneta and Gabby, known as “ShaGab,” started after their appearance in the 1981 film “Dear Heart.” They got married three years later and had their daughter KC Concepcion a year after that. However, they ended their marriage in 1987.
