Sharon Cuneta indirectly refers to TVJ’s conflict with TAPE: ‘I felt hurt because you should have been taken care of’

Sharon Cuneta expressed her support for Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) amidst their dispute with TAPE, emphasizing that they did not deserve the hardships they went through. Cuneta, who appeared as a guest on TVJ’s new noontime show on TV5, conveyed her disappointment and concern for the trio, stating, “I feel bad because they should have been taken care of. I detest what they have been through. You didn’t deserve that.”

Joey de Leon interjected, jokingly saying, “This spells the start of an argument.” Cuneta clarified, “No, I’m just sharing my sentiment, and your Dabarkads (fans) all over the world are probably feeling the same thing.”

The actress-singer then highlighted the unwavering support of TVJ’s fans and fellow “legit Dabarkads.” She said, “There are many noontime shows with their own supporters, but the love for TVJ and Dabarkads is exceptional. So, let’s not allow the happiness of the people to be taken away. The one thousand and one joy is here again. There will be no more shocking instances.”

The new TVJ show premiered on the TV5 network on Saturday, July 1. Although its title was not immediately clear, the trio hinted that the program would be called “EAT.”
