Last year, they launched a similar feature on the Google app, Google Search widget, and Google Assistant. The main difference is that users were required to hum the tune for a longer duration, 10 to 15 seconds. Using machine learning models, the audio is transformed into a number-based sequence representing the song’s melody. These sequences are then compared to thousands of songs from around the world in real-time to find potential matches.
