Following the incident, a group involving Shakur allegedly attacked Anderson hours before the rapper’s fatal shooting, according to 8newsnow. One popular theory suggests that Anderson may have shot Shakur in revenge. However, Anderson denied this before being fatally shot himself in Los Angeles in 1998.
