The pandemic acted as a catalyst for these impulsive purchases, as individuals sought to enjoy life amid the uncertainty.
Despite the pressures imposed by geopolitical events, the demand for superyachts remains strong. Arthur Brouwer, CEO of Dutch shipyard Heesen, explained that order books are full across the board, thanks to the post-Covid push. In fact, the 2022 Global Order Book published by Boat International revealed a 24% increase in the number of superyachts under construction or on order compared to the previous year.
As the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show wraps up, it’s time to admire some of the most lavish superyachts showcased at the event. The German-built AHPO stole the spotlight as the largest superyacht ever exhibited at the show, with a length of 115 meters and five luxurious cabins. Dutch shipyard Heesen’s Lusine impressed with its sleek exterior and exquisite interior designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design.
Perini Navi’s Blush, a 45-meter sailboat, showcased its striking red exterior and sporty lines. Italian shipbuilder CRN’s Rio, a 62-meter superyacht, captivated visitors with its vibrant and whimsical interior. The impressive foredeck swimming pool of Italian yacht builder Tankoa’s Kinda also turned heads.
Finally, Admiral’s Giraud, with its magnificent sand-colored exterior, demonstrated the exceptional craftsmanship of Italian shipyard Admiral. Each of these superyachts exuded elegance, luxury, and unparalleled beauty.
