June 15 (UPI) — Actor Ryan Reynolds is joining forces with FuboTV to create his own channel.
In a press release on Thursday, FuboTV announced its partnership with Reynolds, 46, and his production company, Maximum Effort, for the development of the Maximum Effort channel.
Reynolds’ debut project on the channel will be the original series Bedtime Stories with Ryan, which will premiere on Tuesday. The show, produced by Maximum Effort and Fubo in collaboration with ArtClass and Loon Productions, is meticulously crafted using Autodesk’s innovative design and make platform.
Bedtime Stories with Ryan features Reynolds reading both new and timeless bedtime stories, aiming to provide a soothing experience for viewers and himself.
“We are thrilled to bring a program that helps put people to sleep. This show has long been a dream of mine,” said Reynolds. “Story time is a cherished tradition in our household and serves as a constant reminder of the profound impact of storytelling. We are immensely grateful to our incredible partners at Autodesk for their invaluable contribution in bringing this show to life through their design and make platform.”
Fubo Studios head Pamela Duckworth praised Bedtime Stories with Ryan as a delightful blend of joy and relaxation, made even more remarkable by Reynolds’ captivating voice and charismatic presence. She believes the show has the potential to become a modern classic and serve as the perfect flagship program for the Maximum Effort Channel’s lineup of comforting content.
Directed by Vincent Peone, Bedtime Stories with Ryan will consist of 15 episodes.
In addition to the debut show, the Maximum Effort channel will offer an array of original and classic TV shows and movies, along with some surprising content breaks to keep viewers entertained.
