Russell Crowe, the Australian Oscar-winning actor, joined the chorus of condolences following the news of Sinéad’s death. He recounted the time they met in Dublin back in 2022 while he was filming a movie in Ireland.
In a series of tweets, Crowe shared the story of their chance encounter outside a pub in Dalkey last year.
He wrote: “While having a pint outside a Dalkey pub with new friends, a woman with purpose walked by. One of my friends reacted, got up, and followed her. A short distance away, they embraced and called me over.”
“Under the streetlights, with mist in the air and cold breath, I met Sinéad. She looked into my eyes and softly said, ‘oh, it’s you Russell,'” Crowe added.
