Rockstar David Draiman of Disturbed sells magnificent $5M Florida mansion

Prepare to be entranced by the melodious aura of this extraordinary mansion.

In a harmonious exchange, David Draiman, the lead vocalist of the illustrious heavy metal band Disturbed, has recently sold his extravagant residence in South Florida for an impressive $5 million. The buyer of this harmony-filled estate is none other than reggaeton artist Félix Ortiz Torres, one half of the popular duo Zion & Lennox.

Having acquired the modern Spanish-Moroccan villa for $5.22 million in March, Draiman originally listed the property for $5.5 million in May. After dropping the price to $5.19 million, the mansion found its destined owner in Félix Ortiz Torres. Before making this deal, Draiman had previously owned homes in Honolulu, Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Located at 12650 SW 77th Ave. in the picturesque Miami suburb of Pinecrest, this gated 6,583-square-foot home is a true masterpiece. Built in 2008, the property boasts seven bedrooms, 6½ baths, and an impressive array of luxurious features. The highlights include a chef’s kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a home theater, a wine gallery, a main bedroom suite with a private terrace, a charming courtyard, a serene koi pond, and a captivating spiral staircase leading to a lagoon-style pool. Additionally, there is a guest house on the premises.

Disturbed, originated in Chicago in 1994, continues to enchant audiences with their hits including the popular track “Divisive” released just last year.

Born in New York, Draiman has also been candid about his personal struggles with depression and his recent weight-loss journey. However, in an awe-inspiring moment during a concert in West Palm Beach last August, Draiman showcased his tender side. He invited a young, passionate concert-goer on stage after hearing her soulful rendition. This touching gesture led him to take a break from the performance to console her, revealing that his 9-year-old son was present at the concert as well. Reports indicate that Draiman expressed his appreciation for the family-oriented atmosphere his concerts have fostered.

The listing broker for this remarkable property was Carl Gambino of Compass, while the buyer was represented by Markel Berto of Avanti Way Realty.
