Unveiling the top 10 scooter sales in India for August 2023! Electric models displayed strong demand, contributing to a 15.27% YoY increase and a 35.61% MoM surge in sales, reaching 496,037 units. Honda Activa dominates the charts despite a YoY decline, selling 214,872 units last month, commanding a 44.38% market share. TVS Jupiter secured the second spot with a marginal YoY de-growth of 0.01% but showcased a 5.46% MoM improvement. Suzuki Access emerged as the third best-selling scooter, achieving a 32.88% YoY growth and a 3.82% MoM rise. Honda Dio and Dio 125 together marked sales of 41,998 units, reflecting a remarkable 41% YoY growth.
TVS Ntorq achieved a 4.12% YoY growth and an 11.41% MoM growth with 28,787 units sold, whereas TVS iQube showcased remarkable demand, recording its highest ever sales of 23,887 units in August 2023, reflecting a 440.67% YoY increase and a 278.92% MoM surge. Ola S1, known for its outstanding sales growth, sold 18,628 units, showcasing a 435.90% YoY increase but experiencing a slight decline of 3.31% compared to July 2023 sales.
