Report: Steven Crowder issues ‘outrageous’ NDAs seeking $100K following release of damaging behavior

Controversial podcaster Steven Crowder has allegedly resorted to extreme measures to prevent media leaks about his abusive behavior at work. According to Mediaite, Crowder sent “insane” non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with $100,000 breach-of-contract penalties to his staffers, as well as interrogating them about the leaks. Several employees left the company after refusing to sign the NDAs. These actions follow a damning expose by Mediaite that detailed a toxic workplace environment including bullying, drug use, and sexual misconduct fostered by Crowder.

Further reports reveal that Crowder held a meeting where he downplayed allegations of sexual misconduct, including sending explicit photos to subordinates and regularly exposing himself in the workplace. Sources describe a culture of intimidation and fear, with employees feeling pressured to sign the NDAs. Crowder’s CEO Gerald Morgan also forbade communication between current and former employees, leading one former employee to liken the atmosphere to that of Scientology.

Adding to the controversy, Crowder recently hired Michael Spadone, who had previously been accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit settled for $270,000. Former employees express concern for the women working in the studio who now must contend with Spadone’s presence alongside Crowder’s troubling behavior.

These allegations of workplace misconduct follow the release of a leaked video where Crowder berated his then-pregnant wife. The couple has been estranged since 2021 and is currently involved in a contentious divorce trial.

Despite these revelations, representatives for “Louder with Crowder” have not responded to requests for comment. This controversy comes shortly after Crowder turned down a $50 million deal with The Daily Wire, labeling it a “slave contract,” and instead signed with Rumble, a free speech platform. The terms of the partnership with Rumble remain undisclosed.

It is clear that Crowder’s problematic behavior and the toxic work environment surrounding him have raised concerns among employees and viewers alike. The fallout from these revelations continues to impact both Crowder’s personal and professional life.
