Remembering Toowoomba Student Zoe Hulme-Peake: A Talented and Gifted Young Scholar
Our hearts are heavy as we remember Zoe Hulme-Peake, a truly remarkable student whose talent and intellect were unparalleled. Zoe tragically passed away, leaving a void in the hearts of her loved ones and the local community.
Zoe was an exceptional pupil at Downlands College in Toowoomba, where she achieved outstanding academic success. Her achievements include being the dux of her year group in 2018 and ranking among the top 0.06 per cent of students in the state. She was also recognized as one of the top 30 Year 12 students.
Zoe’s remarkable performance led to her receiving an offer from Homerton College at Cambridge University in the UK. She was set to embark on a philosophy course at the university, but unfortunately, had to defer her studies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
