“No, there is no truth to the sparked rumors suggesting that actor Kevin Costner and actress Reese Witherspoon are romantically involved,” a representative of the actress firmly stated in response to the online reports.
This recent gossip is the second time that Witherspoon’s representative has had to quash speculations of her being in a romantic relationship with another divorcee. Representatives for both Witherspoon and Tom Brady debunked rumors of the two having a relationship. According to a source, the two had never even met.
Witherspoon and her former husband, Jim Toth, publicly announced the end of their marriage in March, before finalizing their divorce later that August.
“Out of respect for our family, we have made the tough decision to separate. We are moving forward with love, kindness and mutual respect. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s understanding of our family’s need for privacy during this difficult time,” Witherspoon and Toth expressed in a joint statement.
With her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, Witherspoon shares two children, Ava and Deacon, and a son, Tennessee, with Toth. Meanwhile, Kevin Costner’s now-ex-wife, Christine, filed for divorce in May and the two finalized their settlement in September. They share three kids.
