Undoubtedly, “Dead Reckoning Part One” secures the top position with Cruise’s breathtaking mountain jump in Austria.

The scene shows Ethan attempting to catch a train where a significant AI deal is taking place. However, the fastest way to do this involves riding a motorbike off the edge of a mountain and parachuting down to reach the locomotive—quite an unconventional method.

Giving the level of risk involved, it’s astonishing that Paramount allowed Cruise to perform the stunt himself. Yet, it was a decision that paid off. The scene is truly awe-inspiring as the star descends through the valley and effortlessly sails through the air.

While many actors claim to perform their own stunts, Cruise truly goes the extra mile for the audience. In an interview with Extra, he expressed, “It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. When I was a little kid, I used to build ramps and have some terrible crashes on my bicycles, but it was a lot of fun doing that.”

Furthermore, during an Insider interview on the “Dead Reckoning” red carpet, Cruise hinted that he intends to go even bigger in “Part Two.”

“I’m always pushing. I just remember, every time they say, ‘Can you top it? Can you not top it?’ we’re always pushing,” the star said. “Every film I do, regardless of the genre, I strive to make it as entertaining as possible for the audience. I know I can always improve.”
