Israel to intensify attacks on Gaza Strip ahead of next stage in war on Hamas, says military spokesman.
Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, Israel’s military spokesperson, stated on Saturday night that the country plans to escalate its attacks on the Gaza Strip in preparation for the next phase of its war on Hamas. When asked about the possibility of a ground invasion, Hagari responded that the military is working to create optimal conditions beforehand.
“We will increase our attacks to minimize risks to our forces in the upcoming stages of the war. We are starting to increase the attacks today,” Hagari stated.
He reiterated his call for residents of Gaza City to relocate to the south for their safety.
