‘Presumed Human Remains’ Retrieved by US Coast Guard from Titan Sub

  • The US Coast Guard has retrieved “presumed” human remains from the wreckage of the Titan submersible, according to an official statement.
  • These remains will be transported to the US for further analysis.
  • Tragically, five tourists lost their lives when the submersible imploded.

The US Coast Guard has announced the collection and upcoming analysis of debris and potential human remains from the Titan submersible.

In a press release, the Coast Guard revealed that debris and remains from the submersible were retrieved from the seafloor site where the vessel imploded. The collected evidence will be transported for analysis.

“United States medical professionals will conduct a formal analysis of presumed human remains that have been carefully recovered within the wreckage at the site of the incident,” stated the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard previously reported the tragic death of five tourists on board the OceanGate Titan submersible, which was en route to the Titanic shipwreck.

Recently, it was determined that the submersible imploded due to a “catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber.” This implosion, lasting only milliseconds, would have instantly killed all passengers onboard, as explained in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series.

During the search for the vessel, concerns were raised about OceanGate and the structural integrity of its vessels.

The passengers included the founder and pilot of the company, Stockton Rush, a British billionaire, a French Titanic expert nicknamed “Mr. Titanic,” and a wealthy businessman from Pakistan with his teenage son.
