According to Malone, the proposal occurred during a wild night in Vegas. However, it didn’t go quite as planned. He had lost a considerable amount of money while gambling, and when they went back to their room, he was heavily intoxicated and thought it was the perfect time to pop the question. Little did he know, his proposal would be met with a resounding “no” from his now-fiancée, who suggested asking again when he was sober.
The 28-year-old singer shared that he took her advice and asked again the next day. This time, he was sober, and the moment was much more special. Malone praised his fiancée, referring to her as a “beast” and admitting that she was right to reject his intoxicated proposal. He even confessed his own lack of expertise in matters of romance.
Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, has been notoriously private about his relationship. He has never shared any photos of his fiancée, who is known publicly only as Jamie, on social media. Nevertheless, he expressed his immense joy and proclaimed that he has never been happier.

When asked about his conviction in choosing his fiancée, Malone admitted that he could tell she was the one. He praised her immense heart and expressed his desire for a large family. He described her as the “Number One Mom in the fucking universe.”
In a rather endearing confession, Malone revealed that he has written numerous songs about his fiancée but is too shy to play them for her. However, when asked about his vision for a Post Malone wedding, he confidently stated that it would be “bitchin'” and even mentioned including an ice luge for beer. He imagines a non-stop flow of beer and a lively dance floor.
Despite his reputation for partying, Malone shared that he has now cut back significantly and is focusing on taking better care of himself. His biggest fear is not being able to be there for his baby, showing his dedication to fatherhood.
