Vornado has partnered with the renowned healthy-lifestyle brand Life Time to create a state-of-the-art pickleball complex spanning over 53,000 square feet across the first three floors of PENN 1. This remarkable facility will feature a total of seven pickleball courts on the ground level, catering to the growing number of enthusiasts of this leisure sport in the city. Parham Javaheri, Executive Vice President of Life Time, proudly declared that it will be “the most exceptional indoor pickleball club in the city,” providing a luxurious experience with comfortable lounge seating and a bar. The club will also offer premium athletic club programs and amenities.
The opening of Life Time at Penn 1 will occur in two phases. This summer, a brand-new athletic club will take over the former fitness center on the building’s second and third floors. Then, in 2024, the eagerly anticipated pickleball courts will be unveiled within the expansive 53,000 square-foot complex.
PENN 1 is home to numerous prestigious office tenants, including Dell, Samsung, Empire Health, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo.
