Philadelphia Mass Shooting Claims Life of Victim Two Days Prior

Philadelphia authorities are investigating a shooting spree that occurred on the Fourth of July holiday, resulting in five fatalities. Shockingly, it has now been revealed that one of the victims had been killed almost two full days before the mass shooting. Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was arraigned on Wednesday morning and is facing charges of murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, as well as weapons possession without a license and carrying firearms in public.

Initially, it was believed that Carriker had killed Joseph Wamah Jr., 31, in a home as part of a series of shootings. However, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner revealed on Sunday that an error prevented the police from discovering Wamah’s body immediately. The investigation has since determined that Carriker killed Wamah approximately 44 hours prior to the mass shooting.

According to authorities, the police received a 911 call about gunshots on South 56th Street around 2am on July 2, about 90 minutes after Wamah was actually killed. Unfortunately, due to a dispatch error, the police were sent to North 56th Street instead, which resulted in a delay in finding Wamah’s body. Krasner expressed his deep sorrow for the family of the deceased and assured them that they have been informed about this new information.

It is crucial for authorities to uncover the truth and ensure justice for the victims. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of accurate information and swift action in such cases.
