Performance Cancellations Enforced at Pantages Theatre Due to Minor Fire

A minor incident occurred at the iconic Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, resulting in the cancellation of two “Les Miserables” performances. The incident involved a small fire, which was swiftly addressed by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Upon arrival at 6233 Hollywood Blvd., firefighters discovered smoke in an electrical room and a backstage area. However, no actual fire was found. Theater staff informed the firefighters that there had been a previous issue with a transformer.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. In a statement posted on social media, the theater expressed gratitude for the absence of harm but acknowledged minor damage to the building. The theater is currently addressing the damage and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

Ticketholders for the canceled performances have until Wednesday to exchange their tickets online for another showing. For those who choose not to exchange, refunds will be issued.
