Pedro Pascal Inspires Artist’s New Exhibition

An exhibition paying tribute to actor Pedro Pascal, created by British artist Heidi Gentle Burrell, faced disappointment when Pascal visited the gallery while it was closed. Burrell’s exhibition, entitled “ADHD Hyperfixation & Why It Looks Like I Love Pedro Pascal,” was unveiled on June 3 at the Rhodes Art Gallery in Kent, England. However, on August 6 when Pascal tried to view the paintings, the gallery was closed. Burrell expressed her desire for Pascal to return, stating that having the subject of her artworks personally evaluate them would provide valuable insight into their likeness.

Pascal arrived at the closed exhibit accompanied by fellow actor Russell Tovey and “Talk Art” podcast co-host Robert Diamen. They documented the experience on Instagram. The exhibition consists of 14 pieces of artwork.

If Pascal returns and Burrell has the opportunity to meet him, she is prepared with topics of conversation. Burrell wishes to discuss ADHD with him and clarify that her fixation on him is not an obsession, but rather a part of her artistic focus. The collection includes a mix of paintings and sketches as a tribute to Pascal, who gained fame for his role as Oberyn Martell in “Game of Thrones” in 2014. Burrell hopes to meet Pascal in person one day.

Additionally, Burrell would be thrilled to have Pascal sit for a portrait in person, allowing her to draw him directly rather than relying on online photos as references. She acknowledges the abundance of available photos of Pascal, which provided her with multiple angles to work from. However, she believes that capturing the essence of someone or something is always best achieved in person.
