MANILA, Philippines—Barangay Ginebra guard LA Tenorio is hopeful for a speedy return to the basketball court.
Tenorio, who has been sidelined since February due to stage 3 colon cancer, shared that he is making progress in his recovery and is looking forward to playing again in about a month.
“I’m doing well, doing good. So far I’m really looking forward to it, praying that I can go back to playing in a month,” said Tenorio during an episode of PlayItRight TV. “It’s 10 out of 12 so it’s my last two sessions for this treatment.”
Earlier this week, Tenorio also shared his current progress on his Instagram, stating that he’s “almost there” in terms of his recovery.
