He created extensive series of canvases that showcased his Devon garden, the interior of his house, and exquisite items arranged on large table tops. Other series captured French party scenes and riverscapes near his daughter’s residence in France. He also paid tribute to his friendships with various renowned individuals, such as David Attenborough, Neville Marriner, Robert Tear, and Seamus Heaney, through a collection of portrait drawings.
