Aug. 18 (UPI) — The proprietors of a sunflower field in England are making a plea to visitors: please refrain from getting naked for photoshoots in public view.

Siblings Sam Wilson and Nette Petley, who own Stoke Fruit Farm on Hayling Island, have had to put up signs asking guests to respect public decency after six incidents of nude photography took place since the sunflower field opened to the public last month. Shockingly, three of these incidents occurred in a single day.

“We kindly remind everyone that we are a family-friendly establishment, so please keep your clothes on while in the sunflower field! We have received numerous reports of people engaging in nude photography, and we must insist that this behavior ceases immediately during our public sessions,” the farm stated in a Facebook post.

Wilson and Petley clarified that they do not wish to spoil anyone’s fun, but the recent rise in public nudity has become problematic.

“While we have always had individuals taking risque pictures, this year marks the first time it has become a significant issue, which is why we felt compelled to erect signs,” Wilson explained in an interview with CNN.

The siblings revealed that families who visit the farm have complained about their children witnessing these incidents of nudity.

“The site is quite vast, offering many secluded spots where individuals can remain hidden for over an hour without anyone discovering them. However, these incidents of public nudity were anything but discreet,” Petley stated.
