Exciting Nintendo Switch game news expected in November livestream event
A fresh wave of game announcements from independent developers eagerly anticipated by Nintendo Switch owners on Nov. 14, courtesy of the upcoming Indie World showcase.
The indie counterpart to Nintendo Direct, November’s Indie World will be live-streamed on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels, commencing at 9 a.m. PDT/12 p.m. EDT on Tuesday. The new indie showcase from Nintendo can be observed in the embedded video above.
Approximately 20 minutes of fresh announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch are expected, according to Nintendo. The specific games and developers featured in November’s Indie World were not disclosed by Nintendo. However, viewers can anticipate several surprise game releases and demos following the Indie World event.
Disappointingly, Hollow Knight: Silksong fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for any news. As the release date for the highly anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight is still unknown, it appears improbable that developer Team Cherry will unveil it in one of Nintendo’s smaller showcases. Nevertheless, viewers can look forward to games to enrich the holiday season and the Switch’s 2024 release calendar.
It’s been nearly seven months since the last Indie World presentation, where Nintendo and indie game studios presented Switch versions of games like Chants of Sennaar, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Mineko’s Night Market, and Little Kitty, Big City.
