One of the scheduled witnesses, David Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence official, has made a bold claim that the federal government has an undercover program for recovering debris from crashed spacecraft of non-human origin. However, the Pentagon denies having found any evidence to support Grusch’s assertion.
Additional witnesses slated to testify are David Fravor, a former Navy commander, and Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot. Both individuals have come forward with their accounts of witnessing UAPs. Their report, submitted to lawmakers, examined 144 UAP sightings, with only one being explained as a deflating balloon. The report found no evidence linking the UAPs to extraterrestrial life.
Notably, some Democrats also support the effort to declassify government records related to UAPs. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) recently showed his support for bipartisan legislation aimed at lifting the veil of security surrounding UAPs by publicly advocating for the declassification of relevant government records.
