July 3 (UPI) — Genshin Impact is offering a tantalizing glimpse into the characters of the highly anticipated Fontaine region in its latest animation, “Overture Teaser: The Final Feast.” Released on Sunday, this teaser introduces Furina and other significant characters.
In the upcoming 4.0 version of Genshin Impact, the popular open-world action role-playing game published by HoYoverse, players will have the opportunity to explore Fontaine, the fifth region in the game. The animation “Overture Teaser: The Final Feast” provides a sneak peek into this exciting new region.
The teaser begins with a captivating scene of a girl sinking deep beneath the water. As she opens her eyes, it becomes clear that this was all part of a mesmerizing trick performed by magician siblings Lyney and Lynette. Voiced by Daman Mills and Anairis Quiñones, these characters are sure to captivate players with their enchanting performances.
“Enjoy a rapturous ode sung in reverse, Enjoy a whirling waltz drowning in tears of joy and sorrow, Enjoy a magical performance for which none shall applaud…” reads the intriguing caption that accompanies the teaser.
Throughout the animation, we catch glimpses of other fascinating characters such as the Fatui harbinger Arlecchino (voiced by Erin Yvette), Wriothesley (voiced by Joe Zieja) and Sigewinne (voiced by Sarah Williams) enjoying drinks together, and Neuvillette (voiced by Ray Chase) and Clorinde (voiced by Crystal Lee) walking through a majestic stone hall.
Notably, Furina (voiced by Amber Lee Connors) is seen burning a photograph and questioning, “When are we going to finally see a real twist for once?” These intriguing characters, along with Egeria (voiced by Courtney Steele) and Navia (voiced by Brenna Larsen), promise players an unforgettable journey in the Fontaine region.
HoYoverse has also released drip marketing art for Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet (voiced by Paul Castro Jr.), indicating they will be featured on the 4.0 banners. Fans can expect these characters to play significant roles in the upcoming release.
Version 4.0 of Genshin Impact is set to launch in August, but in the meantime, players can look forward to the release of Version 3.8.
