Neil Breen, a popular radio host on Brisbane’s 4BC, surprised listeners when he announced his resignation on air today.
During his emotional announcement on the Brisbane Live show, Breen cited the challenges faced during the Covid-19 pandemic as the reason for his departure. He expressed a desire to prioritize his family.
Prior to the pandemic, Breen was commuting between Brisbane and Sydney on the weekends to spend time with his wife and children. However, travel restrictions made it difficult for him to be with his family, leading to feelings of loneliness.
