NBA super agent Rich Paul reportedly advised NBA teams to pass on Chris Livingston, one of his clients, during the draft on Thursday.

Paul, the CEO of Klutch Sports which represents high-profile players like LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Trae Young, contacted several front offices during the second round to discourage them from selecting Livingston, a forward from Kentucky.

Despite these efforts, Livingston was eventually chosen by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 58th overall pick in the draft, earning him the title of “Mr. Irrelevant.”

It appears that Paul strategically planned this move, leveraging his influence as one of the most powerful agents in sports.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Livingston had received assurance from the Bucks two weeks prior to the draft, leading him to cancel workouts with other NBA teams.
