MSNBC Hosts Ridicule Ted Cruz’s Awkward On-Air Moments

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) faced criticism from MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan and Ayman Mohyeldin for his recent TV appearance, where he angrily sipped a beer and dismissed the suggestion of limiting alcohol consumption to two drinks per week with a vulgar phrase.

Hasan compared Cruz’s attention-seeking behavior to that of Paris Hilton and pointed out the absurdity of his claim.

The alcohol guidelines, which recommend maximum limits of two drinks per day for men and one for women, are not currently being changed. Even if they were, they would only be guidelines, and individuals would still have the freedom to consume as much as they wish.

Hasan likened Cruz’s statement to the false narrative of a supposed ban on gas stoves, designed to generate support from their political base.

Mohyeldin described Cruz’s behavior as “cringe” and recalled a previous incident where Cruz cooked bacon on a machine gun and ate it with a plastic fork, further emphasizing his desperate bid for attention.

Mohyeldin also criticized Cruz for endorsing Donald Trump after Trump had insulted him, his wife, and his father, stating that Cruz lacked the courage to stand up to him.
