Mother of Angus Cloud Denies Son’s Intent to End His Life

Lisa Cloud, the mother of the late “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud, expressed that her son had no intentions of leaving this world following his recent death. It was abundantly clear to her.

Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fezco in the popular HBO series, passed away at his family’s home in Oakland, California, at the age of 25.

Sharing her thoughts in a statement posted on Facebook, Lisa Cloud appreciated the love and support her family received. She mentioned that her son was going through deep grief after the loss of his father, Conor Hickey, to mesothelioma. Despite this, Angus Cloud’s last day was filled with joy.

According to Lisa Cloud, Angus Cloud had plans to stay in the home he loved and take care of his sisters’ college expenses. He also wanted to support his mother emotionally and financially. His intention was never to end his life.

Before going to bed, Lisa and Angus Cloud hugged and expressed their love for each other. They planned to see each other in the morning. Lisa Cloud is unsure if Angus consumed anything harmful afterwards. All she knows is that he fell asleep at his desk while working on an art project and never woke up.

When the Oakland Fire Department arrived at the home on Monday morning, they determined that Angus Cloud had already passed away. The exact cause of death is yet to be announced.

Following Angus Cloud’s death, tributes poured in from his “Euphoria” co-stars including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Dominic Fike, as well as other celebrities like Drake and Billie Eilish.

Lisa Cloud mentioned the possibility of Angus Cloud accidentally and tragically overdosing, but she reiterated that he did not intend to leave this world. His struggles were real, but he also experienced love and support from his community. His work on “Euphoria” became a catalyst for important discussions on compassion, loyalty, acceptance, and love.

Lisa Cloud also referenced Angus Cloud’s head injury, which resulted from a fall into a construction pit and led to a broken skull. This incident was reported by Variety in 2013.

Angus Cloud made the most of the extra 10 years he was given and filled them with creativity and love. To honor his memory, Lisa Cloud encouraged others to incorporate random acts of kindness into their daily lives.
