Media Affects Me More Severely Than Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. believes that media bias is hindering his presidential campaign, rather than his controversial theories. In an interview with Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Kennedy stated, “I’ve been really, you know, slammed in a way that I think is unprecedented, even more than President Trump was slammed by the mainstream, by the corporate media,” as reported by the Hill. Kennedy, who is the nephew of former President Kennedy and the son of Robert Kennedy, is challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination. However, polling suggests that he is more popular among Republicans than Democrats, according to Politico.

Kennedy expressed his disbelief at the negative portrayal of him in the media, stating, “My unfavorability ratings should be off the charts if people believe—I mean, listen, if I believe the stuff that’s written about me in the papers and reported about me on the mainstream sites, I would not have any—I would definitely not vote for me and I would not—I would think I was a very despicable person.” Kennedy recently sparked controversy when he made remarks at a fundraising dinner suggesting that COVID was engineered to target white and Black people rather than Jewish and Chinese people. As a result, members of his own renowned family accused him of antisemitism and racism.

JFK grandson Jack Schlossberg criticized Kennedy’s presidential candidacy, claiming that he was capitalizing on his family’s legacy, promoting conspiracy theories, and creating conflict for personal gain and fame. As reported by NBC News, Schlossberg stated, “I’ve listened to him. I know him. I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president. What I do know is his candidacy is an embarrassment.” Despite the criticism, Kennedy referenced a Harris/Harvard poll that indicated he had the highest favorability rating among all 2024 candidates. He explained, “So, somehow, the American people are hearing what I’m saying,” suggesting that his message is being conveyed through podcasts or social media. (Read more Robert F.
