Americans who want to have their own Perfecta can now pre-order the device. Seergrills states that Perfecta cooks food up to ten times faster than conventional methods. 

According to the Wooden Skillet, traditional steak recipes recommend cooking on a gas grill at about 500ºF.

Unlike traditional grills, Perfecta cooks steaks vertically instead of horizontally.

Users simply select the cut of steak and desired wellness level on the device’s touchscreen. The propane burners emit infrared rays, cooking the steak evenly without the need to flip it.

Perfecta also offers a unique feature: a removable drip tray that captures the fat from the meat, preventing it from causing flare-ups that can dry out the meat and result in an inconsistent texture.

The grill is known for optimizing conditions for the Maillard reaction, the favorite of meat enthusiasts.

“The Maillard reaction is a chemical process that occurs between proteins and sugars, giving browned food its distinct flavor,” explains the manufacturer.

Some key characteristics of the Maillard reaction include a perfect sear on the outside, ideal doneness on the inside, and optimal moisture retention.

In addition to steak, Perfecta can cook over 50 types of food, including chicken, fish, and pizza.
