Insomniac Games just rolled out an update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, bringing the game to version 1.001.005. This 460MB patch aims to resolve a myriad of bugs, and it is now ready for download and installation.

The update addresses various issues, including collision errors, missions failing to trigger, losing the ability to jump, and more. Additionally, it enhances the game’s overall stability.

For the complete patch notes, here’s what’s fixed:

  • Fixed NPCs spawning on top of each other in boats
  • Resolved an issue where MJ could be defeated in one hit on higher difficulty settings
  • Fixed missions failing to trigger when hiding the HUD
  • Addressed missing collision on the floor in the harbor
  • Further addressed issues where players could become stuck in the finale of Marko’s Memories
  • Resolved the ability to switch characters during the defeat sequence
  • Fixed getting stuck running on a wall
  • Resolved various issues related to inputs not registering after zipping to a point
  • Addressed issues with the game not properly reloading after being defeated by a boss
  • Fixed issues where Peter Parker could become stuck on a bench or railing
  • Addressed players clipping through the map and getting stuck during combat
  • Resolved the Hang Ten Trophy not counting flips accurately
  • Fixed inputs not registering after grabbing a memory crystal
  • Addressed models not loading properly after long play sessions
  • Fixed the player character leaving a mission and entering the open world resulting in corrupted saves
  • Improved game stability
