Marks & Spencer Collaborates with Estee Lauder Ahead of Return to the Footsie

Marks & Spencer has entered into a partnership with Estee Lauder as part of its extended “brands” strategy.

Starting next month, more than 30 perfumes from the New York-based beauty giant will be available on the M&S website, as well as through click and collect at over 700 stores.

Certain stores will also stock Estee Lauder fragrances, including the Beautiful, Bronze Goddess, Pleasures collections for women and Aramis for men. This collaboration marks Estee Lauder as the latest addition to M&S’s website, as the retailer continues with its dramatic turnaround.

With over 140 brand partners, M&S aims to attract a wider range of shoppers to its clothing and home department. Third-party brands currently account for 42% of total beauty sales at M&S.

Heidi Woodhouse, Director of Home, Furniture, and Beauty at M&S, stated, “At M&S, we are committed to becoming the trusted editor in beauty for our customers. We continue to innovate with our leading own brands and introduce third-party partners who complement and enrich our offerings.”

M&S launched its “Brands at M&S” initiative in March 2021 after acquiring Jaeger, its first brand, in January 2021. Since then, the company has partnered with women’s wear brands Sosandar and Nobody’s Child, and it sells menswear from Lyle & Scott and FatFace.
