Mark Cuban Denies White House Run in 2024: What This Means for the Next Election

Billionaire businessman and Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, firmly stated on Wednesday that he has “no plans” to run for president in 2024. In a recent email to NBC News, Cuban affirmed that there has been no change in his considerations regarding a potential presidential bid. This declaration comes after speculations arose about a potential run for the White House, following his announcement to leave ABC’s “Shark Tank” and reports of his intention to sell his majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks for $3.5 billion.

Cuban had previously publicly floated the idea of an independent presidential run in 2020 and engaged in discussions with No Labels, a bipartisan group aiming to secure ballot access for a third-party candidate in all 50 states. However, No Labels’ founder, Nancy Jacobson, expressed that the group does not allocate a significant amount of time to deliberations over potential candidates.

Despite No Labels planning to hold a convention in Dallas with the objective of selecting a Democrat and a Republican to potentially run as a ticket against the two major parties’ presidential contenders, Cuban remains adamant about his decision not to pursue a 2024 presidential bid.
